You can change your flavors with a quick email before the tenth. It is part standing treat for yourself, and part gift that keeps arriving.
What to look for before you subscribe
Four things separate a club worth keeping from one you cancel in two months.
First, freshness. Ask who actually pops the popcorn. A lot of subscription boxes are run by fulfillment companies that buy in bulk, store it, and ship it when your renewal hits. Popcorn tastes best fresh, so warehouse time is the enemy. You want a club that pops its own popcorn and ships it soon after.
Second, the flavors. A club is only fun if the lineup is worth looking forward to. Plain butter and plain cheddar get old fast. Look for a maker with flavors you cannot get in the grocery store aisle.
Third, the real cost. Check whether shipping is included or stacked on top every month, and whether being a member gets you anything beyond the box. A club that adds shipping each time can quietly cost more than buying bags one at a time.
Fourth, how you cancel. If pausing or canceling means a phone tree or a thirty day notice, that is a warning sign. A good club lets you skip a month or stop with a single email, and says so up front.
How the Cactus Corn club works
Our Popcorn of the Month Club is $30 a month for four full-size bags: three you choose, plus a free surprise bag. Shipping is free every time in the lower 48. Pick a lineup (Southwest Trio, Savory, Sweet, Traditional, or Desert Sweet) or choose your own three flavors. Pay ahead for 3, 6, or 12 months and it drops to as low as $25 a box, and a paid-ahead plan ends after its last box. Your first box ships in 1 to 2 business days, and after that boxes ship around the 15th of each month.
Being a member also gets you ten percent off everything else in the shop for as long as you subscribe, plus first pick of new and limited flavors before they reach the store. If you need to skip a month, pause, or change flavors, email us before the tenth and we take care of it, and you can cancel a month-to-month plan anytime in your account. No phone tree, and no notice period.
Where the flavors come from
We have made popcorn in Phoenix since 1998. That history started at Chase Field, and we have been popping at Arizona venues ever since, from the ballpark to school fundraisers to events across the Valley. We are not repackaging someone else's product. Every batch is made by our team, on the same equipment, with the recipes we have used from the start.
The club leans on the flavors that made us an Arizona brand: Prickly Pear kettle corn, White Cheddar Jalapeño, and Roasted Street Corn, alongside the sweet and savory standards. These are Southwest flavors you will not find on a grocery shelf next to the national brands. If you have had our popcorn at a game, the club is that same popcorn, shipped to your door.
Here is the proof that people actually finish it. We sold more than 25,000 bags at State Farm Stadium in the 2025 season. A stadium crowd is a tough test, and our popcorn cleared it by the pallet.
Is a subscription actually worth it?
Here is the honest math. In our shop, a bag works out to $4.58 to $5.99, depending on the pack size, and orders under $49 pay for shipping. The club is $30 a month for four full-size bags, including the free surprise bag, with shipping included, plus ten percent off everything else you order. Pay ahead for a year and it is $25 a box. If you buy from us more than once in a while, the discount and the free shipping cover most of the difference, and you never have to remember to reorder. If you only want popcorn once or twice a year, a subscription is probably not for you, and a one time gift box makes more sense.
