Inside the Cactus Corn kitchen

We're a small Phoenix family business that has been popping kettle corn since 1998. Every batch is made by hand in 8-pound copper kettles, the same way we did it at our first event. We pop, season, and bag the popcorn the same week it ships, which means what arrives at your door tastes like it came out of the kettle that morning because close to it, it did. The big national popcorn brands warehouse their product for months. We don't have warehouses. We have a kitchen, a couple of kettles, and 27 years of practice. That's why your bag is going to taste different than what you find on a grocery store shelf.

Frequently asked questions

When does my first shipment arrive? Orders placed by the 10th ship on the 15th of the same month. Orders after the 10th ship on the 15th of the following month.

Can I pause or cancel? Yes. Log into your account and pause, skip, or cancel with one click. No fees.

Is there a contract? No. Month-to-month by default. If you pick a 3, 6, or 12-month gift plan, it's prepaid for that duration and does not auto-renew.

Are your popcorns gluten free? All of our popcorn is naturally gluten free. Check individual flavor ingredients for allergen details.

Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii? Yes, free shipping applies to all 50 states.

Can I switch flavor profiles? Yes, any time before your next ship date.

Can I send each shipment to a different address? Yes. Email us at orders@cactuscorn.com with the subscription order number and the list of addresses, and we'll route each month's shipment accordingly. Useful for corporate gifting and gifts to multiple family members.

Do you ship to PO boxes? Yes, we ship via USPS to PO boxes anywhere in the U.S. Shipments to PO boxes go out the same day as physical addresses.

What if I'm out of town when my shipment arrives? Popcorn of the Month is shelf-stable for 8 weeks unopened, so a few days on a porch in normal weather won't hurt it. If you're going to be away for longer, log into your account before the 10th of the month and pause the upcoming shipment with one click.
