About Our Popcorn
Where is Cactus Corn made?
Every bag of Cactus Corn is handmade in Phoenix, Arizona. We have been making popcorn here since 1998, and all production happens in our Phoenix facility by our own team. The same family that started this company is still standing at the kettles.
What flavors do you offer?
We make six signature flavors: Original Kettle Corn, White Cheddar Jalapeno, Sweet Butter Caramel, Roasted Street Corn, Happy Birthday Cake, and Prickly Pear. Each one was developed in our Phoenix kitchen and is inspired by the foods and ingredients of the Southwest. You can read more about each flavor on our Southwest Flavors Guide.
What is prickly pear popcorn?
Prickly pear is a cactus fruit native to the Sonoran Desert, and it has a subtly sweet, berry-like flavor that surprises people who try it for the first time. We use real prickly pear flavoring to create a popcorn that you will not find from any other company. It has become one of our most popular flavors for gifts and visitors to Arizona who want to take something truly local home with them.
Is Cactus Corn made with artificial ingredients?
No. We use real butter, real cheese seasoning, real vanilla, and real fruit flavors across our entire lineup. No artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no preservatives. Our ingredient lists are short enough to read at a glance, which is how we think it should be.
Does Cactus Corn contain common allergens?
Some of our flavors contain dairy, including butter and cheese seasoning. Our production facility handles dairy products, so all flavors should be considered as having potential dairy contact. How long does Cactus Corn stay fresh?
Our popcorn stays fresh for several weeks when kept in a sealed container at room temperature. For the best eating experience, we recommend finishing it within 2-3 weeks of delivery. Our gift tins are sealed specifically to maintain freshness during shipping and transit.
What makes Cactus Corn different from other gourmet popcorn?
Three things stand out. First, we are a family-owned company that has been making popcorn by hand in Phoenix since 1998. Second, our flavors come from the Southwest and use local ingredients like prickly pear cactus fruit rather than generic recipes. Third, we use exclusively real ingredients with nothing artificial. The people who develop the recipes are the same people making the popcorn and packing the orders.
Ordering and Shipping
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship to all 50 states. Most orders arrive within 1-2 business days. Every order includes a free gift message option, which makes us a solid choice for sending gifts to people who are hard to shop for.
Can I include a gift message with my order?
Every order comes with the option for a free personalized gift message. Just add your note at checkout and we will include it with the package. A large portion of our orders are gifts, so we take the packaging and presentation seriously.
Where can I find Cactus Corn in Arizona?
You can find us at Chase Field during Arizona Diamondbacks games in sections 118, 138, and 317. We are also at Salt River Fields during spring training season, and at various local events and markets around the Phoenix metro area throughout the year. Corporate and Wholesale
Can I order popcorn for corporate events or client gifts?
Yes, and this is a big part of what we do. We offer custom branded gift tins and bulk ordering for corporate events, client appreciation gifts, employee recognition, trade shows, and more. Do you offer wholesale ordering for retailers?
We do. We currently supply retailers, gift shops, hotels, resort shops, event venues, and other businesses across Arizona and beyond. Wholesale ordering is available through Faire or by reaching out to us directly through our Wholesale page.
Events and Catering
Can I book Cactus Corn for a party or event?
Yes. We bring our popcorn setup to weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, school functions, community gatherings, and pretty much anything else where people want fresh popcorn. We have been doing events across the Phoenix metro area since 2013 when we launched our food truck. Visit our Book an Event page to get the conversation started.
What areas do you serve for events?
We primarily serve the greater Phoenix metro area, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and surrounding communities. For events outside the Valley, reach out and we will see what we can work out. We have traveled for the right occasion.
